washed, sorted and crushed (You can pick in-season and freeze the fruit to make the jam any time throughout the year)
Mix together raspberries and sugar in a heavy pan and bring to a boil. Keep stirring while boiling.
Add a container of pectin and boil for 1 minute. To avoid foaming, add butter.
Pour into hot sanitized jars. Wipe the tops carefully, put on lids and seal tightly.
Put jars in a water bath for 10 minutes.
