Planting season is upon us and we are prepping for the season with South Dakota Soybean President, Jeff Thompson, who farms in Colton, South Dakota. Jeff shares his planting process, care, safety and environmental stewardship that goes into beginning a successful season.
Last year’s planting season was a doozy. It was hard to imagine anything but weather being top of mind for farmers this year. Insert in a fast-moving pandemic. With planting season fast approaching, our farmers are gearing up for another critical year. Maintaining family and individual health, as well as a healthy workforce, is key at this point.
